Have any of you guys been to prime meats in oakland cal? If so I got a couple questions. My appoinment is at 8 am but the qc says get there early and I was wondering how early could I get there? There automated message says they open at 7 and I hear they unload you from the street so im not sure if showing up to early sitting on the street is a good idea or not. My second question is the qc directions have me going down 3rd street with building on my left. If you been here did you park on 3rd street or did you go to alice st which is more in front of the building according to google maps. Dinomite im guessing you might have been here so any advice helps.

Hey, are you a tall skinny guy from California? You talk just like some clown I met a few times. You tried to tell me you were some kind of field supervisor or something. You kept saying "we'll I've been here three years" over and over.

If it is the guy I'm thinking of, it would figure. He's one of those guys that if he didn't have driving a truck, he wouldn't have anything. Every time I saw him, it's on and on about how #####en he is and how JBS can't do without him, you know the type. Last time I saw him, I almost lost it and started laughing.

I found this prime meats place. Wasnt to bad but boy I can wait to get out of here. Next drop is engelhart gourmet foods in fairfield ca then the real challenge of finding a spot to shut her down and wait for a pre plan.

Glad to see you made it to that Oakland stop. Only been to Oakland once and it was to some place that puts the meat in the containers.

To the beer guy. I'm 6'0 235 and black so maybe you are thinking of the wrong person. I do wear a San Diego's chargers hat, and I was born in California. Due to the fact I barely made the top 10 in Jan and February on the top performers list and didn't even make it in March. I don't have nothing to brag about. Wonder if you can pick me out. It should be obvious. But I'll let you do your home work. Also Only been here 3 years as of March. Here goes some home work. I do think I made the top 10 all of last year but not sure. Anyway have a good day.

Nope, this was a white guy so, not you. My apologies for the mix up.
i looked at your link about the cameras. They didn't lie but they did not tell the whole truth about them. They do more then they are claiming. Like I said, I've had one before.

Hey guys im thinking about making the switch to jbs. Have read allot of good comments about the company, ive also seen a few of their trucks(nice) and have been to 2 of their plants to pick up loads. I live in southern california san diego/tijuana area. I have 7 months otr exp.

    Question:
    1. How often are drivers allowed to go home?

    2. What is the pay per mile?

    Thanks in advance

http://jbscarriers.com/OTR.aspx Or you can look at the Western division. I believe for otr they want you out at least 2 weeks. You probably can get home weekly if you do the regional but not sure. The pay per mile is all on the website.

Also just noticed they took away a lot of the hiring area. Seems to be only hiring around the terminal areas my state isn't even on the list but it was a few months ago. Most of California is on there and we pick up Bananas out of San Diego area to take up to Salt Lake area. So Probably a could hiring area for you.

Also Army guy what are you doing in California. Thought you were doing the dedicated thing. I'm sitting in PA now an hour from my first stop then I have 4 after that. Chester NY, Springfield,Ma Providence RI, Boston,MA, and Hooksett, NH. Haven't been to New Hampshire in forever. Never with this company. First time for everything. Have fun folks.

    TIJUANA BOY Thanks this.
