Gotta find someone to drive with, who you won't kill after 15 minutes! :biggrin_25523: That's the hard part. The easy part is sending the QC message to your FM saying it's a done deal.

They should allow VuQube dishes on their trucks. I know they sell the DuraSat in their company store, and I saw a truck parked at the Campus Inn with one (not sure which) mounted on it.

From what I've read, there's no arbitrary limit on the size of the inverter you can use. However, you have to have the company mechanics install it for you.

Still have to play like green acres with what you have plugged in.

I am considering having a 1000W or so pure sine wave inverter installed for my electronics. I'll have to see how well they like the APU's inverter first.

A question about Prime's rider policy...

I have friends and family wanting to go out on the road with me (once I can do that). Logistics (like having a condo) aside, what are the limitations of who I can bring along?

I know that I have to get company approval for each rider (by name), and I believe I read that Prime requires riders to be at least 12 years old. Other than that, are there restrictions like family only, or can I have a non-related friend ride with me?

Also, is there a charge for them?

I know that I won't be able to take anyone for some months yet, but my best friend's 16 year old daughter is bugging me about spending a couple weeks on the road next summer...

company driver and rider policy is a littlr bit more restrictive than Lease Operator. Though I can't say with certainty what the current policy is, I believe company driver guests have a higher age minimum.

paperwork has to be completed and faxed to dispatch and approved before they can get on board with a company driver.

must have a seat belt for each passenger, and since there are only 2... Driver plus 1.
