blood pressure too high and if ur bmi is a high number theyll make you get tested for sleep apnea. I only got about half my teeth and I just got my card.

 

Never heard about teeth discualification on a dot physical, but I heard a company was put out of business because it was requiring the rookie female drivers to do a virginity test by the managers! It became a major scandal.

 

only thing you need to worry about on a d.o.t.physical is bloos pressure, diabetes,vision, and hearing. sleep apnea is not checked for a d.o.t. physical. thats a company policy b.s. go look at the long form if you don't beleive me.

The funny thing about bad teeth is that some drivers have dental insurance and won t use it. When I see drivers with missing teeth or discolored ones(yellow, gray, brown, and black) I hurry up and get away from them

 

It may not impact your DOT physical but you'll be in for heart problems down the road if you have bleeding gums and bacteria gets into your bloodstream. Besides... you have no shot at Kate Upton with rotten stinky teeth.

There are dentists out there that cater to folks who haven't been to a dentist in awhile so you are comfortable and don't feel embarrassed or spooked. You just gotta suck it up and get the first visit under your belt.

 

That could be because of the high dental costs, even with insurance.

 

and some people like me spent years and many thousands of dollars trying to get fixes for their teeth that would last and finally gave up on it. there can actually be childhood medical problems that can cause some issues later in life. personally I'm glad it makes some folks run away because those that do are too ignorant for me to waste my time on. try living a life being afraid to smile then come back and make fun of what you dont understand
