Sounds like someone should have stayed a company driver. Just dont have what it takes to be an o/o. Your attitude is way off too. People give you free advise and you have a bad attitude...So sad. Does sound like one of your problems tho. Be safe out there drivers.

ya i can be a smart ### but at the same time i dont appreciate crap that anyone with half a brain allready knows ive been an o/o for 7 years and driving for over 25 yrs do i know every thing no but at least dont treat me like a moron

Yes it's all a fixed cost.....steer tires last 100,000miles drives last 280,000miles trailer tires 130,000 miles, so you figure out how many miles you drive a year and the cost of tires and divide that by how many years it takes you to drive if you drive a 100,000 miles a year so that's 0.064 a/mile a year it cost you.
Insurance will say $8,000 a year that's 0.08 a/mile per year
Maintenance again you know when you do your PMs say it cost you $300 a PM and you do it every 20,000 miles that's five times a year that's 0.015 a/mile so that's all fixed cost!!!Wariour1 Thanks this. -
A fixed cost is something that does not change ... Fuel varies therefore cannot be considered a fixed cost
and if you have over 25 years experience ..... Why does your profile say 10? -
With your driver pay $15,321 that = $52,321 that's $1,679 off of my numbers..........so keep going your not talking to stupid steering wheel holders most of us do know what we're talking about!!!

really can you explain why the cost of a tires rise and fall all the time,,,, same as oil changes up and down with the price of oil my insurance has gone from 6700 to 8000 so far my ins broker thinks it will be a little less this year but that remains to be seen
