Ive been looking around at peterbuilts awhile now and wanted some opinions of them from a mechanics standpoint and a drivers standpoint. Are certain models better than others? Why?Conversely, what models should I avoid,if any?Ive had a few diesel pickups in my time and two of them had cummins engines in them which I loved because they were easy to work on.Can you get a peterbuilt with a cummins in it?How are the interiors? Are they reliable?Any insight you can provide would help alot........whether you own one, heard of someone owning one,or your looking yourself.Thank you.
peterbuilt...what are my my options?

Well it all depends on what you want. If you want looks then 379/389 and stay together. If you like lots of plastic then there are many of those to choose from. Just remember that the plastic may get better fuel mileage but it can easily be broken. As far as the cummins in your pickups they really are two totally different worlds. But everything depends on what you want
