    Hi All,

I joined this website last week, so far it is fantastic.

This morning, I took my DMV test for my Class B CDL. All joking aside, I only missed one question on the GK test, perfect on the AB. Perfect marks on Pre-Trip and Road Test!

Big thanks to Allstate CDT in Seymour, CT and my instructor, John Burns!

    Now, to find a job...

Don't worry about it . There are plenty of Class A holders that aren't real truckers either . There should be plenty of jobs delivering heating oil in NE . There are a lot of moving van lines also and they are just beginning their busiest season

That's great, congratulations. So, how did you like Allstate? Did you do the class or the one on one?

Thanks. Allstate is a nice school, very professional in the office and the instructors know there stuff. Lots of characters, too, which keeps it entertaining. All of my training was 1 on 1, the main reason I chose Allstate. They have about 5 or 6 B trucks, but only 2 maneuver fields as the rest are for the A. There are trucks that do not go on the road that you use to train on the PTI and maneuvers. The others you do your road training in. All are 26ft box trucks with 6spd manual box. Some are in better condition than others as you would expect for training vehicles. DMV comes right to the school so it was nice to take the tests on familiar ground with familiar equipment.
