You won't have any problem at all finding a trucking job. There are companies that hire felons fresh out of prison, once they complete a CDL school. One guy on here got hired after 21 years in prison & completion of a private CDL school. Try the trucking company CDL training and see if they accept your application. Prime Inc. and Central Refrigerated are both good. There are others such as Swift and Stevens. There are other options if you complete a private CDL school or community college CDL school; then apply at Carolina Cargo or Buel Inc. or Western Express or Navajo or Watkins & Shepard. I think you're good to go!
Keep a file of these company names for future reference. -

OP: A phone call will get you further and faster, IMO. You can sell yourself on the phone a heck of a lot better than by inpersonal e-mails.
I'd add to the list of companies: Millis Transfer and Roehl Transport. They both offer a CDL training program. Then, Conway also offers a training program through Crowder College in MO and another in MI.
Of the mega carriers, these have a good reputation. Although I have no driving experience, I have done lots of research and am in the process of applying everywhere. I believe a 10 y/o felony will be OK w/ most co's, but then again, some crimes are worse than others.
Best of luck!Dreazz75 Thanks this.
