Well, i have worked for them for about a year and a half and here are my impressions:
1.They will never force you to team or lease, what they will do is pressure new people to lease and then withhold miles so that you agree to team. This means if you stay company there is no issue here.
2. England is a very cheap company in terms of wages and in practice. For example i frequently get loads of 20-30k lbs, but the lease people will usually be stuck with heavy loads since that takes more fuel.
3. Dedicated divisions are ran much better than otr in my experience.
4. Turnover is high and lease completion rare, this is for good reason. For everyone like me who has done okay at England 100 have been starved out of the industry by them. It is probably best not to push your luck by working for them.

Several people mentioned Prime, why is Prime so great? this is not a sarcastic question, im curious. I was comparing Prime to other company training programs, sounds like it takes longer to start making good money? Swift you can go solo after about 9-12 weeks. Prime is like 5-7 month. Prime does pay better during training, but not by a lot, especially when training is up to 4 months longer.
for a guy that wants to get out and start making money ASAP whats the best choice? I guess I'm second guessing Swift. I chose them because the training school/terminal is 2 hours away and my father-in-law is a mentor/trainer there (we get along, LOL) edit: oh and also he seems to be really good at planning his loads and hours and how to deal with swift and his driver manager. So i expect to be trained very well. -

So far i have been at CRE for almost 2 weeks. I cant say i have had a bad experience it has been pretty good. The only thing i dont like is that the backing instructors are no where to be found and its pretty much student teaching student. There are some good driving instructors. I have only heard them mention the lease option once. I had to come home today because my birth certificate is screwed up but will be going back to start driving on the road and take my driving test. So far i have nothing bad to say about CRE
secorp Thanks this. -
Good for you. Keep up the good work.

Same here..I liked the instructors at Richmond. You're right about the backing practice, but just pick out 2 or 3 good students, sign out a set of keys, and practice practice practice. And remember Lionel Richie sings really loud..lol
