I was told by a tire guy that they are only useful for single tires, and they have no effect when used on dual tires. Not sure how accurate his statement was, but that's what I was told.
-
I only use them on steer axle where IMO they are the most useful. I know of another driver with them on his drives but you cannot tell a difference between my drives and his. All I do is rotate them.
SHC Thanks this. -
Their website says they work wonders. Imagine that. lol Never heard anyone bad mouth them and have heard lots of great results on steers.

Don't get me started on this there not as great as everyone makes them out to be I spent $5,500 at there shop replacing everything on my front end 65,000 miles later tires are out of round I got them warrantyed only because we showed him all the work that had been done the rep said the balincers are my problem
-
I had them on the steers on a truck once. Hated them.

Ok, thx everyone

Ill start with what happen, I was going thru tires at 60,000 miles (580s) I put a new set on my truck with balincers I didn't make it but a half a mile and I was jumping all over the road turned around went back the did a aliment (3axle) took it back out same thing ended up taking them for a ride they took the tires off changed them out again....same thing took balincers off and problem solved.
They wouldnt take them back so i called them derect and they talk me into going to there shop that's when they said all my bushings hangers tie rods king pins needed changed, they say its right but my tires are junk 24oz is a lot of weight if your tires are tru to start with -
I have them on my steers and not a single problem. I have a little over 150K on my steers right now and they look like brand new and have plenty of tread left. My drives I just rotate every 100K and they still have 22/32 on them with 300K miles... Bridgestone's are all I've ever ran.
Mommas_money_maker Thanks this. -
We run them on our drives and have had good luck.
We have our steers spin balanced.
