Driving through the high winds and rain in Western Neb last night my passenger side windshield wiper was slightly damaged. The wind was so strong it was picking up the wipers and slamming them back down. One of the support pieces was knocked out of wrack so part of the bottom half of the wiper was not fully in contact with the windshield.
Lucky me I was then stopped at the Cheyenne, WY port of entry and selected for a random inspection. They did a full inspection and everything checked out but the wiper was deemed "inoperative/defective" on the inspection report. No citation issued but it was noted on the report and I was verbally told to get it fixed.
I did get a new blade at the next truckstop, what other consequence can I expect from this?
