Have to do something in Fort Mac. Never been there myself so I cannot speak from authority but they sure need a few ATCO lodges so there'll always be an option. Too many things we choose in life like getting married involve never having another option or we perceive no option when one truly exists. Sorry for that little offf topic discussion that could fill volumes.
Would an address at a ATCO type lodge be considered a true address is you were moving and getting drivers licenses ccards etc moved to become an Alberta resident? That would be cool. Can you have girlfriend mistress etc having short stays?

When I worked at kearl lake (wapasu), you could get mail but it was only delivered on certain days.
I can't remember but I'm pretty sure they didn't allow lady friends to come bunk with you.

 

The beds are Single only. You could use them 1 wide and 2 high!!!! LOL

 

Had to send out a couple cheaques when i was up there and both camps told me they didn't have mail service. That was cnrl horizon and meg camps.

as for your girlfriend coming up. I had to have a security card to get through the turnstiles. Without it, it was a no go.

 

2 high has been done many a time even in the old single sleepers. .....so I'm told

 

If you're living or working in the oil patch, then many of your jobs may depend upon what the media calls the "new & unproven technology" called fracking. The jobs that Keystone or Northern Gateway will create are pale in comparison to long term jobs that fracking will create and that's way beyond oil patch to odd places like Quebec and most of Europe just to name a few places and a virtual limitless supply of cheap energy and America energy independent in 5 years. You've all heard about this future scenerio.

There is a coordinated attack on your industry on many fronts but fracking seems to be their major villain and we need to know more about these villains and have the tools to fight back because most of the media and the politicians (not all) are on the wrong side.

There are many neaderthals who want to stop progress for their own reasons and cause suffering to the poorest people on the planet because it makes them feel good. Besides the compliant media like the CBC, the New York Times, we have the Mulcairs and the Dixes of the world (thank god he lost) . Throw in as many Hollywood trash as you can imagine and it may make it easy to stop going to the movies to support them.

The real villain whose movie saturated the whole banning of fracking everywhere is Josh Fox and the movie Gasslands released in 2010. Unlike Gore's "Inconvenient Truth" it did not win an Oscar, it had to settle for being nominated.

Just like an Inconvenient Truth, it is full of lies and maybe half truths but unlike Gore's film, when shown in the UK, the courts did not require that the 30-40 errors be read in a statement before the film was shown to students. Gore like to exaggerate and that's putting it mildly.

I discovered a video called "Fracknation: a Journalists Search for the Fracking Truth" created by Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney, who were famous for "Not Evil Just Wrong" & "Mine Your Own Business". The 2009 "Not Just Wrong" exposed the whole global warming fraud and its pope Al Gore. No his documentary wasn't nominated as Inconvenient and Gasland was.

Phelim McAleer visits the towns in Pennsylvania and Delaware that were supposed to have contaminated water and water that faucet that could cook an egg when you opened it up and found everything the way that Gaslands portrayed it to be a complete fraud. You be the judge but this video needs to be in as many hands as possible including energy and oil companies all the way down to the level of the schools.

Why is knowing your enemy important because, Joh Fox is now filming a sequel and the people with the real true story including Phelim McAleer will be excluded again with threats of lawsuits and on.

Phelim McAleer is the real thing and a champion of what you and I believe and deserves the support that we can give him.
