Yeah, sorry, I've been immersed so long with the new rules I forgot the old ones. Besides, who really ran that way anyway?:biggrin_2559:

At Crete , the first 2 hours were free, then $21 per hour for their owner operators.

600 miles everyday? I would split 2 rounds over 3 days. If I felt like it I'd do a 600 in 1 day once in a while.

semi crasy, crete I assume your comments were tongue in cheek but if not, my defense is that I am paid #### well and I'm home every night and every weekend. I'm too #### old to be running my ### off and 600 a night is nothing. Being home is more important to me than getting rich. The 30 minutes is not that big a deal I was just curious how to do it legally to save the most amount of time. I appreciate everyones comments.

I think if you tend to fuel midway through the day like I do, you can work your 30 min break into your fuel stop. Get in line behind a truck with 2 trucks behind the one fueling. Log off duty then stay on line 1 until you get to the pumps. That will probably buy you that half hour. Figure at some busy fuel stops you wait an hour to fuel. Might as well make the delay work for you.

Lol, nope but if you are stuck in line and pack your own grub you can certainly make do. I waited for an hour at the Loves in Toomsuba, MS. I warmed up some ribs and ate them while I waited rather than just sit behind the wheel being grouchy. :)
