    Tested out this afternoon a day early. It went well. They put me up at the hotel until my truck gets issued. I'm wiped out. Glad to be relaxing for an evening.

    Yea I definitely will be doing that. On a side note, the roads around our terminal have to be the worst in the country. I can't believe they haven't fixed them.

    City of Gary is pretty much flat broke; no money available to repair that road. As I understand it they are stretched very thin even on things like cars for their police force.

    That was actually suggested during the conversation. The answer was that no politician in Gary would dare enter into an arrangement like that.

    I was told today that the city demanded union workers get the job to fix it, so the two companies backed out. No clue how true that is.

    I was told by my trainer that Rick roehl offered to pay half the cost of paving the road in front of the Gary terminal and the city still wouldn't do it. Idk how true that is though. Something needs to be done about it for sure! It will rattle the fillings out of your teeth!

    Supposedly pumpkin would've paved from 912 to the RR trax and Roehl from the other side of the trax to a lil bit after the driveway to enter. The city said no. Definitely not the roughest road I've been on in a truck but top 3 for sure.
