My buddy has worked there for 6 years and makes $31 an hour. With full paid health insurance. He just does straight truck pick up a delivery tho. If I had the chance I would definitely go. In my opinion
-
$31 a hour at UPSF?? do you mean UPS parcel? I never heard of a UPSF guy making that muchMarksteven Thanks this.

upsf is mid 20's and mileage for l/h is around 64cpm.

That sounds better. I know there pay is similar to ours. I do know they are very very fussy
-
if you like boot camp go there! but if you can.. go to fedex, they pay good. and very great support!!!
-
and how is fedex different? If you want to starve at the bottom, go to fedex.
-
I like them both. Their good drivers.

UPSF is almost as bad as FXF, and CWF(no offense but you know what I mean back from XEM and XBY) My friend told me they would do the same making you work the dock, then go deliver, they trucks are more wired than the non-union carriers. Heck they put out a list of people who started the truck without a seat belt, and you get written up for not honking before backing... My friend told me it made CWF look like a dream job. He said if it was PArcel he wouldve just dealt with it, but hes back at YRC after a 4 year layoff from the merge. He was a dock worker and his terminal had a different union thn teamsters for them. The one terminal hes at now is his union... Hey at least he kept his 19 year senority.
But then again FXF is just ridiculous about the cutting of line-haul routes to save money... FedEx HAS TONS of money, FXG is basically the profit organization -
No fedex is never giving us a hard time, its been great for me and most drivers i talk to love it, now i could see some of there people may be over doing the power thing but over all i have had really no problems there 10 years and im saying the same thing. I have talk to alot of ups freight guys and there not to happy in texas and la. But never heard of this backing up thing and honking the horn right up. Unless some one pissed someone off. I have made some good money here.....
