While in Dubuque the other night one of the drivers told me that Warren transport went bankrupt and Anderson bought them. I was wondering if this is a true story because Warren has been around a long time. The fella that told me this seemed to have the inside scoop or poop on everything.
Is this true

SHC Thanks this. -
Did this driver with the inside scoop drive for Anderson or Warren? If he drove for Warren, tell him that's interesting info. If he drove for Anderson, tell him shut up.
-
The Anderson family has owned Warren Transport for alot of years allready.
They are run by a different management side right there in Waterloo,Ia..
When I was with ATS we could not go into a Warren yard for any repair work or trl. drop.
Only if picking up a ld. from their lding places just like any other carrier.MJ1657 Thanks this. -
Things have changed a bit. Warren stores trailers at the ATS yard in Houston and ATS sends trailers to the Warren yard in Laredo for repairs.
-
ATS owns Midwest Specialized too.
-
They also own Brewton Express out of LA
-
Yep, all run seprately. But they have to answer to the Anderson family and board of directors though.
I think Brewton might be dispatched out of St. Cloud now though.
Triplesix might have that answer
They also own sunbelt furniture express out of N.C. also. -
Brewton still does its own gig. They have their own freight and their own heavyhaul team.SHC Thanks this.
