I didn't forget anything. I usually leave it alone. I also usually only go home for 2 days.
This weekend I was home for almost 5 days even though I only asked for 3.
Unfortunately they forgot to install outlets in their massive open dirt lot or I would plug mine in as well. I'm working on finding other parking arrangements but for now I have to settle for a truck stop 15 minutes away.

If I am going to be away from the truck for more than 24 hours, I shut all power down. That way that never happens to me. Be sure to turn off next time.

I parked my truck last Friday at 2 pm and started it today (Tuesday) at 2am. All I do is turn off my inverter. I even left the fridge running and it was nice and cool this morning when I opened it!

Well I'm not having such a great week.
Was driving through Columbus today and had a car cut in front me across the cross hatched lines at an exit ramp. They didn't even look before they started going and slammed right into the right front corner of my truck. They then spun sideways in front of me for a couple hundred feet before spinning off the left side of my truck into the guard rail in the median. Nothing I could've done to avoid them hitting me. Luckily nobody in their vehicle was injured. The other driver was cited for unsafe lane change. This was a DOT recordable but Non-Preventable accident.
Their car was pretty badly damaged from hitting the guard rail. Only had sheet metal and paint damage from hitting my truck.
My truck had a bunch of paint damage on the front bumper and the grille is cracked. The left fog light is gone. My right front tire and wheel had to be replaced. Truck is still drivable but I am going to be heading to a company shop in the next few days to get some body work done. I'm also missing a TPMS sensor that got broken in the accident so now I get to listen to that thing beep constantly for the next few days until I get it fixed.
The load of glass on the trailer appears to be undamaged but I won't know for sure until I get to my delivery tomorrow night.
Here's their car.
And here's the damage to my truck.
And now this is how it looks with the ugly white steel wheel I have to run until I get to a shop to have an aluminum one put back on:

People just don't understand how bad a accident can be with a big truck, glad it wasnt your fault , it's amazing how they come all the way over at the last second and look up at you and they have a baby in the back seat!!! Scary
-
Wow. So glad you and the others are OK Man. Stay safe my friend!
-
Glad nobody was injured I can deal with the steel wheel for a few days but couldn't handle if someone was badly hurt or killed even if it wasn't my fault. Keep being safe my friend.

I passed you today Razor! You were on 70 EB just crossing the WV/PA line at around 1:45pm. I had a single coil on going the other way. I yelled at ya on the cb, but guess you didn't hear me. I know it was you unless another glass hauler has the driver side fog light missing and the big black scratch that shows in your above photo.

Hi, I'm new to this forum and have been reading for while. I received an email from maverick recruiting dep.saying they can't longer process my applications. Can anybody help me and tell why they denied my app. I don't have any criminal record or DUI. But driving record isn't that good bcuz of accident and stuff like that. I'm a very hard working man, I have been driving taxicab for 7 yrs. I faxed them my last three yrs income report. Can anybody tell what to do or I should reply again,or call them and find out the problem?i was excited when they called the first time now I'm very disappointed. I'm also approved by swift but maverick is my choice. Your help will be appreciated, thx
