you can start what parts of it that you already know how to do. Once you get on the truck your time to work on it may be limited depending on your trainers technique or how hard he beats you up. LoL

Back in west valley. Signed a lease today... PSUs old truck. Lower weekly payments and the lease is up a few short months after my contract with central has been fulfilled. Tuiton was paid off but was told you still have to work for them for a year or else you owe on it again.
Already pset for a load headed to PA in the morning. Excited for the future. Already making plans to sell my personal vehicle and live on the road for awhile. Lets see what kind of fun and frustration awaits me in the new truck haha.
unloaderArkansas Frost, Lady K and PSUMoose Thank this. -
Good luck on everything. I know when I was working in DC on the railroad, I was out 2 months at a time, only home 2 weeks. I did the same thing. Sold my vehicle, put my stuff in storage. Its worth it if you really dont plan on being home. You can rent a car for a week for 150 bucks.
I did the same thing before coming to central. Moved out of my apartment, put my stuff in storage. But This time I didnt sell my vehicle. I still have a car payment. But its still worth it to keep my charger. -
Just dropped a load going to PA in the wvc yard this afternoon. Might be the same one? Good luck buddy and keep us up to date on all the fun you're having.

Good luck with it Unloader. Hopefully it works out for you.
I too made a big decision this week-- on Saturday I went for a drive test with a local dirt/gravel/asphalt moving company hauling doubles. Despite my lesser experience they really liked what they saw and offered me the job. I went ahead and accepted and am heading down to clean out my truck in Fontana and find out how they want me to pay off my remaining tuition.unloader Thanks this. -
Congratulations on the new job.
I read this thread regularly and I can't figure out how you guys and gals can stick it out as long as you do.Arkansas Frost Thanks this. -
If you're a glutton for punishment, you'll find your fix here!! Lol. Got my yearly "free pass" this morning. I was trying to calculate how many minutes I'd have left when I checked in... And, whoops! There went a weigh station! Lol. They left me alone, thank goodness...

I did that my first week solo. The officer looked like he couldn't think of a good enough punishment... then just let me go. I never missed his scale again.Arkansas Frost Thanks this.
