let us know how many inspections you get next week. cuz i've heard most states will postpone a week. specifically just for UUUUU. who took this week off.
there's an article in one of the popular trucking magazines online. (can't remember the name).
govt funded. 10,000 inspectors. 1500 checkpoints. but around here. it's been kind of quiet. good thing i'm taking next week off.

I agree. That is why I think it should be random times throughout the year. Not a well publicized three measly days out of 365!
I wish I was quick enough to take a pic of the bobtail that I saw in the I55 truck stop in IL, and its DOT number, that did not have one legal drive tire. And by not legal, I mean cords showing for several feet along the circumference!
But I guess at that grade of deterioration, there would not be any gator to leave on the highway in the inevitable event of a blowout... hehehee

Hey guys I work for a frac company, been driving 2+ years and haven't been stopped yet. I just came to this company a couple of weeks ago and am not very familiar with a lot of their equipment and what shape it is in... The equipment I have driven has bEen pretty new and in good shape... And their mechanics are good about fixing whatever we put on the inspection reports.
that being said... During this Blitz... Do they just randomly stop any driver anywhere or is it at weigh stations. The route I will be driving doesn't pass a check station so I was just wondering. -
Sounds like a trip to the Gary Freightliner.

Another misinformed driver that has been drinking the Kool-Aid...
