35,000 between oil changes? That's pretty low. You can go around 50,000. The APU units take a lot of wear and tear off of an engine.

 

I change oil every 20k. My engine now has 1.1 million miles. My engine uses about 2 gallons between changes. Once my oil gets dirty, the consumption increases. Plus I would still need to get a grease job and maybe change some filters.
So I just get a full service.

 

Anyone ever notice that no USA trucks have cab fairings that arent crushed. Ive started to think they order them that way.
