No police...havent gotten a call from safety just one from the lady in claims. Explained to her how i got in the situation and what happenned and that was it
-
It will count as an accident or incident. Probably fall under the hit a fixed object category. If no claim was filed you probably wouldn't have had any issue. But nothing too big that will keep you from future employment. Just make sure if prime charges you with an incident you put it down on future applications.
-
Also you have to report it to safety or they will fire you saying you didn't report the incident. So Call safety and make sure you have your tail covered.
-
I wouldn't worry about it.

Since when do we call tire marks on the dirt an incident? What was that guys problem reporting it anyway? Was it soft you sink in pretty good or what? I don't get it.
Danfromwindsor and sdlm Thank this. -
dont know why it would even be a claim its dirt. and tire tracks seriously. and for one if it is sidewalk that is state property not homeowners or a buisness its owned by the state or city it is in the guy who filed a claim has no legal ground to stand on
-
If he filed a claim it will be there... Just the way it is..Welcome to trucking..
-
Yeah it rained pretty hard last night here in OK so my tires did sink.

So it does count as an accident? For example some companies post "no more than one accident an 1 ticket" does that count as the one accident?
