I would never go to a place where you are stuck in a contract with a school. My friend is driving for a company and she is stuck with them, they take money out of her paycheck every month and treat her like crap but she puts up with it because if she quits she still has to pay that money back to them. I went to a job fair over at Sage in Denver. They have a lot of companies that hire straight out of school there and I was talking to some of the students, they have one on one instruction and I can get a job within 4 weeks after starting. I am more of hands on girl so I really liked the idea of not sharing a truck with students while I am training. I already got a couple of pre-hires from the companies they work with. I am pretty excited about getting started!
not impressed so far

Well put, and a great attitude. Best of luck to you, driver. I have no doubt you will be as successful as you want to be.

A lot of companies, including roehl, will pay back any cdl tuition with a top end limit regardless what school u attend. I too was military. I get my assignment and drive it. It mite not be the place or time i wanna go but i do it and dont complain.
I think some wanna drive only when, where and how they want to and i would say thats not gonna work out well at most companies. -
if I had no choice but to work at a minimum wage outfit (30- 40 cents a mile) They'd better throw rose pedals out in front of me and give me the truck of my choice with no forced dispatch and a chrome steering wheel with a pretty blonde in the passenger seat.
