The only way you can do what you want raise hell with just about anyone and get away with it is to become an independent contractor otherwise you are going to get the same treatment no mater who you work for in the trucking field. so go get your self some books on how to drive a hotshot or something like that or learn to keep quite the gentleman even if you feel like kicking someone's You know what

Yeah I have yet to begin my career as a professional driver. I want to drive out of vegas in the future so I phrased the question in a manner that suggests I had already been driving for 6 to 8 months. I wanted to get an idea of what I should prepare for or expect when I make that move to vegas.
Considering the responses in this thread I think the best move is to get hired before I leave my first company. -

Mr Matt seems unhappy with the present White House leadership and wants a return to something along the lines of the more comedic performances of his predecessor. If you haven't kicked off your career in OTR, maybe you should put your hand up. -
12 second lead time is about as far as I would dare to.look ahead in this industry.
