Drove from NY state to Texas and only had to roll across two scales and that's without having prepass.

Truck was tryin' to get me inspected and ticketed again today. Day 1, blitz... right headlight dies on ramp into coop. Day 3, I get 2 active codes, no idiot lights... usually means a dead lite bulb somewhere. So, go look around the tractor before I take off... left headlight dead.

Fortunately, there's a Pilot at the next exit, before the coop. Coop was closed. Got weighed in Maryland and Kentucky... no interest in inspecting, even with the "Kick Me Hard" placards (hazmat) on the trailer.

    :biggrin_255:

West Virginia wasn't even open for business. Another "blitz" in the books. Left me alone again!

I passed two scales in Florida on Weds. Both were very busy around the "Barn" and at least 8 FLDOT cars sitting in the lot. GA didnt seam any different. But in Florida that was the first time I saw a line waiting to get into the Inspection Barn.

I didn't see as much going on this year. Ran from Mobile Al to Plaquemine La to High Point to Kreamer Pa and back to High Point. I got rolled across in NC, Ga and Virginia. Prepassed everywhere else. It didn't look like they were inspecting many trucks at all at the coops I went by. Maybe they were set up on the back roads to catch the guys who run around them.

Mass was practicing in Milford on 495. Saw him sitting on the side and when I got off the ramp the K Mart lot had a bunch of inspections going on. Two were on the hook already.

Seriously though, I got green lights all week so no worries, though Illinois looked pretty busy today and I saw some inspections on Tuesday by the toll booths where the Jersey and Pa turnpikes meet
