I pm'd you last night, thanks. I've applied and just waiting for the final word...spoke to recruiting again today and they're passing me up to safety dept. for the green light. Thanks LMB!

LMB, I too would like a Volvo 780 if possible. But Candice quoted me $540/wk for the first 20 weeks I believe, then about $440/wk thereafter for three years. Does your $339 payment include all your taxes, ins. etc? If so, they've bumped it by $100 in the past six months since you started, and I would look elsewhere for my truck. If not, then we're probably still in the same ballpark.

Frank, from what I was told and sent it's more to build up an escrow and it looks to me to include ins, some taxes etc. I was told 09 670's not 780's but they may have added some others. Candice also told me no trucks right now but coming soon so I'm gonna have to call them again next week and see if any are available yet,....
Frank Acavano Thanks this. -
Jlind, Candice told me the same about incoming trucks, said there's 13 on the way soon. If those numbers she quoted me hold up, I'll probably look at Lone Mountain Leasing too for mine...cause Sunco's seems about $100 too high at the moment...but we'll see. She quoted the Volvos at $47K for a 2009. Also getting in 2007 Freightliners for less, of course. Gotta get the final green light first, before anything happens.jlind Thanks this.

My truck payment for a 2009 Volvo 670 per week is $339.00. Plus insurance, QC, OCC, Liability. Maintenance .10cents a mile
Frank Acavano Thanks this. -
Hi, I'm just curious here, and interested I guess, LOL do you own the truck at the end of the lease or not? Thanks

check out option # 2

Cool, are you ready to start with them?

thanks LMB that's helpful... Question: did they give you any flack about getting into the southeast division since you leased from Watkins? My recruiter mentioned to me that it would only possible to do the same if I get my truck elsewhere, not from Watkins. She mentioned the I-95 corridor division or national would be the only options if I lease from them, at least for a period of time. Then later perhaps onto the SE... Heck, I-95 is what I'm trying to get away from now! It's one thing to go no farther north than Virginia...but the pure NE is another story eh?
Also, how that EGR system and DPF treating you so far? Wish we could live without them!Last edited: Jun 10, 2013
