Interstate allows rider and pets. I believe no charge for rider but there is a pet deposit. There may be a breed restriction, not sure on that.
-
speaking of rider, they talked about that during the quarterly conference call this morning, think right now its only open to immediate family (so for you the wife is fine) tho they are working on opening it up to others

What all was discussed in the confrence call?

80 yr anniversary, new trailers starting in august like 400, 2/3 rds of the new tractors have been delivered, mentioned the changes in july, driver referrals, mentioned dedicated routes with more hometime options tho I have no clue about whats all available, elogs was asked about but they dont have that worked out yet. some new people in the company that will be helping work out some communications with drivers/FM/CSR's, new customers (will be getting more walmart loads out east I think they said, and they have a bid in with home depot)... there was more im sure tho not coming to me at the moment. they are having another one i think on tuesday? i erased the message, ya just call in and listen, did It while I was running down from PA to TN

Ill have to call in and see. Hopefully some of those dedicated come to my part of the woods. I signed on for kansas city and have spent my first two weeks out east. So I need to get some attention brought to this.. even the website says I run 6 states... out east is for midwest and east drivers.
-
never saw the KC regional on the site before now, guess I missed it. Most the midwest regional stuff that I've run the past few months is around IL, OH, KY, TN, with some runs out east to PA and NJ.

and yeah, i been kinda interested in learning more about what dedicated routes we have available and how to get in on them... tho I dont need more hometime, im fine with every 2 weeks i WOULD like some kinda stability and knowing i have loads waiting to go.

Yeah a few of the people that I had orientation with learned how bad the chicago yard is for empties. One even missed his hometime load bc of no empties and it seems night/weekend arent very communication orientated. I had a short week but I came home last night and leave tomorrow for denver. So ill start monday morning off with 1250 miles.
So I informed frank that Ill need a full weekend next week so I can move and celebrate fathers day with my dad and kids. -
yeah, same FM as mine was the one in KC that isnt here anymore. And lebanon is just as bad as chicago as far as emptys go. Last weekend I was in chicago, got to the yard to drop a trailer friday evening, no emptys, told dispatch, didnt get a response after 2 hrs I wrote again, was told they would see what CSR wanted me to do... the next morning still no answer so I bobtailed to the shipper since I knew it was a preload, picked it up and just went on my way. no one ever got back to me. it was a first fleet xtra lease trailer so it was nice and shiney lol
