Is there a point? I have never had a ground clearance issue. Even driving offroad with my step ground clearance has never been a issue.
I keep thinking a rig specs out the car hauler specs would help keep the aerodynamic drag to a minimum, lighten up the rolling resistance due to lighter wheels and tires, and would provide better handling.
Yea, the trailer may need dollies on the rear for some docks, but I'm not seeing the downside of my genius idea that nobody has ever considered.

Are you asking why trucks are so tall or why the driver sits up high? We sit high for better visibility. Ever notice you can't see around another truck when your in a traffic jam?

I love sitting that high. I hate getting in my car at the end of the week and not being able to see anything.
Ghost Ryder Thanks this. -
Our trucks (concretre mixers) have to sit high because of the extreme terrain we navigate all the time. Now if they can just figure out a way to keep a 70k lb truck from sinking to the frame in a customers yard...
