Go read the Stevens Transportation Aviary forums. There is a wealth of information there. It's a good school; the bottom line is if they hire you without a CDL-A, you are already "hired", though you are not getting paid while in school. There is an employment agreement and if you leave before it's paid off, you will be responsible for the remaining costs.

Is their training program good? DO they pay you while in school? What do they pay you after training per mile etc? Thank you.

Yes. No. Weekly salary until you are solo then 26 cpm.

I new some people who went to school with me in march they didnt get paid i recieved money from the VA bt no they didnt get paid i went to school in st. Louis at MTC

.26 mile to start? I received a pre hire from Prime starting at .41mile and $600 week while in training. The lowest pre hire I have is for .34 mile but that is a part time work 7 then home 7 fleet.

How is the training at Stevens? I have heard some good and bad... How large was the class size?
