We received the papers from 401k place to fill out to try and close account which you have to request. But keep in mind they still have to go through home office to be signed off on.

 

can you do a hardship now and how much will they let you get out I didn't know they would let you do that.

 

Hardship withdrawl means you will pull out all of your money in most cases. But you have to fill forms out and they have to be approved by....guess who??? Yep home office at TH. I'm sure with company going under and being non-employed counts under qualifying for it. The only thing is getting them to sign off will be the struggle. Keep in mind with that bill of wonderful prez passed they will tax you like crazy for it. My advice is call 401k and request papers and try. Worst they can do is not sign off.

 

If you don't have a loan out that might be another option for you to have access to half of what's in your 401k as well. But like anything TH has to sign off on it as well but with loan I know you can only pull out half of your vested account

 

I sent papers to TH won't sign off sob, so will just have to wait on the attorneys thanks for information .

atleast you have money in there,i worked there for over 5yrs pay slip says approx. 30,000 ascensus says an acct has been opened but $0 in acct.

 

What does lbd stand for?

you know this is ironic the post office gave this $4.61 hr to Trojan as h&w.bh says its 401k but its not and not even exists. and we hve to fight for or pay taxes on. all other mail companies call it h&w and give it to you
