Well since im sitting in a snowstorm in colorado i figure i gt the time to update since i last posted.my last trip to wisconsin was okay for the most part. Got to the second leg of my trip at 2am with 40 mins to spare.did my arrival call and shut it dwn for the night andfigured i would get loaded somewhat quick and i would just sit after getting loaded. Sure enough everything happened but i had to get the trailer washd out and had to wait till i got the time to move.. checked the trailer out before i hkd up but didnt see the handful of blood spots on the flr of the trailer.(if picking up at night make sure you have a light to check it out) Being there wasnt a blue beacon on my way up had to go to alocal truck wash since it wasnt open at 2 am.. Anyway gt loaded and finally making my way to the 90 and ran into my first snowstorm complete with icy snow coverd roads and gusty winds as soon as i crossed into illinois.
Shut dwn for the night aince the rds was too bad to continue and made my push to the 90 in springfield mothe next day.

Spent the weekend at the terminal reset got a minor issue with the truck fixed(thanks to the peterbilt guy and the shop boys for wrking me in) made a quick $40 bucks pulling trailers to the pad for driver lineup and got a load heading out to st joseph.although it was a short run still was happy to get out the area before the storm that was rolling in. Unfortunately after dropping that ld my nxt ld was dwn the street and after getting lded other drivers was warning of rds being closed due to weather.. made a judgement call of running my time out to try to get dwn the rd and get ahead of the storm so i wouldnt get stuck with rd closures.. sure enough i made the right call since most of the route i wouldve been on was shutdwn although i was only caught in the back end of it i gt as far as limon(my current local) after my restart only to be shutdwn till wed morning due to a massive snowstorm coming from denver co. Guess i cant get away from the snow. Funny i never hit snow during training but once..go figure

If it's just a couple of blood spots, many times you can take care of that with Windex and paper towels. Got a push broom? Sometimes you just don't have the time for a washout, and you'll need one of these.

Finally got through the snowstorm in colorado and headed out on my journey to ontario ca only to have to fontinue the ride on I70 thru colorados infamous vail pass. Was a alrighr trip except for the fact that it killed my fuel mileage completely. I also know if my brakes had a mouth they would be cussing me out ,but they held up pretty good. Seen a lot of cool sites along the way and even seen some wildlife (mountain goats and a full grown male mountain ram) grazing along side the highway not to mention countless ski resorts. The valleys and mountwins was pretty cool to look at being i never been that route to see the difference of the rockies compared to the mountains back east. Had to shut sown in a little town in utah for the night before i finished up the last leg to cali.

Woke up this morning did a pre-trip before starting out the day to make sure brakes and such was aleight being that thwy was used more then use to yesterday. Nice ride out to las vegas and wished i could only have had the chance to see the town at night becausei know it wouldve look way more cooler at night with all the area lite up. Got to see that nascar track which was pretty cool. Seen five of the race tracks so far to date. Anyway a few moew hills once inwide cali and made it to the 90 although i was late due to the snow storm still made in on time for the rescheduled appointment this afternoon.1585 miles in the book and resetting at a T/A in ontario ca ror the night. Hope i can get a load back east before this next weather system is suppose to roll in the weekend..

Well i didnt get a load back east like i has hoped but instead got sent north to washington which to me is cool if only for the miles it gives me for this week so i cant complain at all about that. Pretty uneventful ride except for all the crazy traffic i ran into trying to get out of l.a. and the accident that was in the middle of the interstate which was hard to explain looking at the way the cars was position. Looking at the rig that was involved though seem to jave been the four wheelers was trying to make a move they shouldnt have. Anyway finally got back into the 7.5 -8.0 range on fuel mileage although im only pulling a little under 25k. Was surprised at that when i got the bol and seen the weight especially since i have a lightweight. Guessing the fm was throwing me a bone since i had to pull that heavy mess over vail and through all the other mountains along I70. Thw ride today was straight and have yet to even hit a weight scale in oregon which is unusual being the pass times i been up here i have always had to go in. Anyway not much to report on on this trip. Should be able to drop early although ill have to do a hard reset after that but cant beat restting in the sureondings ill be in..
