I've always been a fan of Simple Green. If you're home get a bucket with water and simple green and lots of rags man. It usually gets everything up, but ,I think, regardless what you use it's going to be a mess. After I get a "new" truck clean enough I'll usually put down a piece of carpet remnant in the portion of the cab behind the shifter and behind the seats into the bunk and do my best to not to walk over it with my work shoes...,you come up with something that works for you let us know, pet peeve of mine...

If I had the patience for it and no slippers, I'd prolly do the same.

Take your shoes off before you get out of the seat and leave them on the floor mat, your floors in the rest of the cab will stay alot cleaner. And I am a big fan of Simple Green also, I buy it in a spray bottle and sometimes spray it on my windshield before brushing it, gets the bugs and road grime off real easy that way.

it works the best out of anything iv tryed so far. of course it will still get dirty. but some practices like boots never leaving the drivers side floor mat make the biggest difference. armor all fades too quickly. for quick touch ups you can spray a little tire shine on and whipe off without cleaning but every so often you will need to do a full degrease and scrubbing and then a fresh coat of tire shine. for dash ect i like the armor all proctecant whipes. for that i use the same techneque shine and clean in one step for every day cleaning then use de-greaser and scrub brush and then re-coat on a occasional basis when you start getting some build up.
when using the whipes on the dash ect they come too wet for smooth surfaces start on your textured surfaces and as they start to dry out use them on the smooth surfaces. sometimes things like the gauge faces need a little buffing with a clean cloth or paper towel afterwards to remove the haze. -
I get a peace of Charcoal colored industrial carpet and make disposable floor mats
