My old FLD120 did this. I replaced the rod the pedal rides on, and the bushings and it still did it. After a while, I didn't notice it anymore. But I also ran local and the truck was noisy. On a long trip, it would prob make me nutts. Just turn up the stereo more lol
Considering WS for next ride..

Nice lookin truck Martin!!

It still rattled some on the way home, but not as bad, It's the return spring for sure. Will probably put another one on there when I get the time.
Running to town to get steel etc for the generator brackets, strobe brackets, etc, an hardwood flooring to do the interior, as a shedding German SHepherd and carpet do not mix well!
Martin -
My 04 is set up this way also. And i think you are bang on as to why SHC, it`s a safety thing.
-
The 4 ways will be left as is then I guess!
Just got back from town, with a couple of packs of 10mm hardwood/laminate flooring, steel for strobe lights and generator brackets, and just for SHC......Some polished aluminum diamond plate for the generator cover
$300 later, and I have the stuff to make all the stuff to get the generator on the truck, and some nice hardwood flooring that should match the dashboard somewhat.
Pics tomorrow if I remember, one of the kids has a baseball game tonight, so will be heading out to that in a few minutes.
MartinSHC Thanks this. -
SHC is right its there from factory. Built right into the signal stat, some dealers here are cutting the cross wire when they do the PDIs here. I could tell you what wire to cut if you want.

Martin, it's been a while since I changed out my turn signal. It took actually talking to a real WS dealer to figure out the problem with the new one. I had to cut the red jumper wire inside the signal to let it know it was on a tractor trailer and not a straight truck. See if the mechanics there know what I'm talking about. B&C Western Star in VA helped me with that. They actually stock parts there too and will ship.

Thanks!
If you figure out exactly where the jumper is, I may give it a shot.
I am looking for some extra switches to run the strobes with, and a full setup for the cab curtains (track, hangers, curtains) to close off the windshield instead of having to close off the sleeper.
Martin -
I prefer to just let it all out there for whoever is dumb enough to look in while Im changing.

The jumper is inside the switch. Take the two screws off the column mount to detach the switch. Take the screws out of the switch and pull it apart, and the jumper wire will be on the circuit board. It sounds way more difficult than it is. The part I can't remember is if this was my exact problem, but I believe it was.flightwatch Thanks this.
