Unfortunately we do not always get the answers right away. You.need to walk by faith. Keep knocking on the doors until One opens. You will be guided to the right One!

Thanks for the encouragement! I appreciate it a lot! I have been reading my bible off and on today and I have been focusing on a particular verse that encourages me: John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

    JimTheHut and projump Thank this.

I fully expect to get told by Sewerman that they have a religious section....but this is my thread and this is who I am!

Delivered a load of 16 super sacks of asphalt pellets to GP in Jarratt Va this morning. After sitting for over an hour they finally came over and unloaded me. I then got a load to pick up fiberboard from there going to DeKalb Illinois. I got 12 ten foot stacks. After they loaded me I had to wait for the supervisor to sign off on the load. Seems the customer has been unhappy with some of the material.
I then had to go out the gate, back in past the scale, and then pull on the scale. I grossed out at 73000 so I do not know what the were worried about.
When I put my tarps on they would not go all the way down to the pallet....leaving the material exposed. I got one of the plant workers to get the shipping dept over to take a look at it.
They took some 8 foot sections of fiber board and put it on the sides to cover most of what was exposed.
Finally got it done and got out of there. Made it up to the 104 on 95 at the flying J.
Will head out early in the am to avoid the madness around here.
Have a nice day of all day driving tomorrow. I have really trying to take it easy my last week in this truck....so far so good!

Hey Jim, the place you are delivering to is pretty tight. You have to park on the right side of the road, customer is on the left. Walk over and check in with someone and they will show you where they want you. All kinds of personal vehicles and other stuff in the way.Take your time and you'll be fine I'm sure.

Got a message today that someone will have to pick up their trainer truck in Laurenburg Nc
I got my second truck there after the first one was pulled for bad bearings after I had it for a week. Got my present truck there when my second truck's transmission went out. If it is a 2012, I think I will volunteer to pick it up. I am off the week after MIT, so they could send me down that way the following week. To be honest, I am in no hurry to start sharing my living space...lol
