If I get all my other stuff done, will have a look at that, as it doesn't sound too bad at all.

    Thanks!

You don't even have to pull the switch off the column just pull the two screws holding the bottom cover for the switch off you'll see the circuit board and the jumper that run diagonally across it.

    leftlanetruckin and cetanediesel Thank this.

    Got it, thanks!
Got the strobes all mounted today, on brackets that slide between the fairings and the sleeper wall at the top corner, then come around the top and into the rear face of the fairings. Those tall strobes look mighty small up there though!
Also got a few other jobs done.
Generator L brackets made and painted, tray for the generator also all done.
Flag brackets mounted behind the front bumper
Extending mirrors mounted to the main mirrors. No way of those looking "good" so to speak, but a legally required, so not a lot of choice.
Let my 16yr old weld on some side bracing today, made me proud! Non too shabby for a 16yr old in my book.

Sounds like your getting her all set up just for you!!

If you get a second I would like to see a shot of the cab/sleeper suspension. I have the ultra high 80" sleeper and its all the two bags can do to keep the cab at the right ride height.

    Thanks!!

Will try to post them up tomorrow Bill.
4 shocks, 4 bags on this one mate.
Dont tell anyone, but that rooftop ac unit was tempting today, as I was up there anyways with the strobe lights.....:biggrin_25525:

I have searched and searched for different options. Problem is, I run a big box headache rack right behind the sleeper, need as muh room as possible under the bunk, and watch the weight.
I emailed a company that sells a 14,000BTU split ac system, that goes under the bunk, with a condenser mounted behind the cab outside.
    New price....$4900 PLUS shipping!
    Used price....$1495 PLUS shipping.
For reference, low profile 13,500BTU rooftop unit, complete, $772 delivered.
Problems I can see, the system throws out cold air at the bottom of the cab , and sucks in hot air from the bottom too. Problem with that is that hot air rises and cold air falls, so the cold air just sits there on the floor, and then gets sucked back in to the intake as the hot air sits up top above floor level.
The Rooftop unit conquer this by just being mounted in the roof! No way of getting around it IMHO.
For the money, cant be beat, so far anyways.....
I have a portable one that will work for now though, so will probably use that for a while until I grow a pair big enough to get the drill and jigsaw out!

Cab ride pics, as well as a few random ones from the past day or two's work:

Still need to make a door for the generator, but the only off cut of diamond plate aluminum they had just did the cover, so it will wait I guess. Stuff is NOT cheap! Brackets are 1/4"x4x4 on the rear side, where the cutouts are for the suspension, other side is 3/16x3x3. Tray that the generator sits on is 1/8" steel with a brake for the front, rear and sides. Will get slides again when time permits, as well as the diamond plate door and a gas cap cover.
Will be using a portable AC unit for now, but will run wiring for a permanent AC unit with a breaker box inside, as well as a GFI socket to power everything inside. No jumper posts on the truck anywhere, and taking the box lid off every time is a pain. So will order a couple of jumper posts and brackets when I get to it. I like to put the batteries on charge when I come home, so that will make it easier. One under the hood, one behind the sleeper should do it.
Now need to run wiring for the strobes, wire the inside for the generator, install the hardwood flooring, and so on.
