The Denny's there at Jackson's Flying J is just as bad if not worse when it comes to customer service. Prepare to wait a while before anyone even acknowledges you, then, prepare to wait even longer to get your order in and finally, hopefully you haven't died of old age waiting on one of them to bring it to you.....
I'm a pretty patient guy, but this establishment was ridiculous. Spoke to the manager and she apologized stating they were short on help and had new staff working. -
Well you guys are missing the keyword "MISSISSIPPI!" I would probably be the same way if I had to live in MS especially Jackson. I don t think there is a friendly person in that city. Its just not the Flying J either in Jackson. Petro and Pilot has workers with nasty attitudes as well. About the only truckstops I stop in MS is either TA Meridian for fuel only or Love s Toomsuba only to grab a quick bite to eat

My aunt works for the Iowa Department of Human Resources. She slipped on ice outside one winter when maintenace neglected to ice the walk. She went through physical therapy and surgery all paid for by the state. Then they cut her a check for $10, 000 for inconvenience. She was happy with just them paying for all her rehab, lol.

They ain't all bad. The Petro in Jackson was ok the last time I was there. I'm at the Spaceway in Meridian right now. Not earning any points on a loyalty card and no chain restaurant. On the other hand, excellent fast service in the diner, a righteous meal, and will be buying my fuel in the morning for 20¢/gal less than the big 3 on the other side of town.48Packard Thanks this.

Glad she is ok and that she did not have to get a lawyer involved and go thru a bunch of red tape.

Yeah. The state acknowledged right away they were at fault.

I was there a few weeks ago and the guy behind the counter was getting micromanaged in a bad way with a rude outdoor voice from across the room. these problems might be flowing downhill.
48Packard Thanks this. -
I don't doubt it a bit. One of the four employees behind the counter the morning I was speaking of was definitely a manager....great role model.
