That is ALL we haul that is HAZMAT. It's not worth the 95 or so dollars. That load doesn't pay very well at all. Pass on that, unless you want to pull HAZMAT for another company.

Aaahhhh, but we never know what the future will bring freight wise. It just might mean I get a load that day and you do not.

Anyway, that particular load got me out west, they were going to sent me to CT. That was a win, win situation.

True. It is a nice light load, and if i recall does not need to be tarped.

Id imagine the wait times can very just like with any other company. this time of year it might not take long. Id be a lot of new drivers are realizing what its like to tarp in the snow and rain. but if you worked there before it will either be a big plus or a door slammed in the face. depending on your "personal reasons" call your old recruiter or DM and find out

My orientation group in columbia had to do our load securement in some pretty heavy and pretty cold rain, good training weather I guess :) all in all I like what I've seen so far, my best advice to anyone going is to forget or atleast pretend to forget what you already know, pay close attention to every detail and avoid actual thinking in any situation where a course of action has already been suggested to you by an instructor or trainer!

Seriously though they are pretty cool there, they'll take a couple days learning to really love you and they are always very serious about anything to do with safety but the orientation is alot of fun. I hope the instructors down in SC are an indication of what my trainers gonna be like.
