If only she was new man. Been trying to avoid the inevitable for 9 yes now. Guess every man has to make that leap at least once in their life, but she's a good one and help me out through some rough spots over the years so I guess she's a keeper.

Nothing wrong with taking them for a long and thorough test drive. Look under the hood and make sure it's good to go.
j/k. Most women wouldn't agree with that though.

Funny you say that because I told her that and she if that was the case that I should've have left the car on the lot if I wasn't up to buy the car lol.. Told her I had to be sure the car could handle how I drove cause some cars are while looking good on the outside are lemons on the inside. All about how you brake them in
silenteagle and The Challenger Thank this. -
Lolx5. That's the funniest statement I've heard all day. You ever thought of doing your own show???

I have thought about it every so often not sure how it would go down. Seen quite a few guys and gals doing v-blogs of their journeys. Some were interesting and some were toliet material.

Well since im sitting in good ol Dodge City waiting on a load of cow to get ready which in my opinion should have been ready by now but hey thats cargill for ya figured id give a quick update on my progress. Since i last posted anything about my travels had to get routed home back in march due to my father passing away. Which wasnt to cool due to the fact i was in oregon when it happen. So imagine that. Pretty rough trip trying to get home running off recap hrs and dealing with the snow and crappy weather. Sad to say i missed the funeral although i as the fm to try to find me runs closer to home but hey itis what it is. Still got to see him before they cremated him so i guess thats good. At least my fm made it up in a major way.
So as far as that my runs have been pretty good finally have increased my miles per week avg and have been consistenly been getting high 7's low 8's for the past few months even pulling lds mostly in the 38 to 43k range. Still cant figure out how some of the other drivers are getting high to mid 8's but i'm not going to worry about anyone but my truck. Stay running consistently like i have been is all i am worried about.
I do not like N.Y. at all due to the confusing nature of the drive. Got confused took a wrong exit and ended up in a borough (sic) and will say i have never been more freaked out and scared in my life. Thank god for the trucker i ran into that talked me out of the area. If it wasn't for him id have been screwed to put it nicely. Hope i never have to be back up that way in a while.
Got caught out in a freak storm system and got some cool pics of it and few cool lighting strike photos which was a lot harder to take then i realized. Taken some cool pics of different things and met some really cool ppls out here. Wished i had done this back 15 yrs ago but better late then never at all.
Anyway lil update of the last few months will post more at a later time. -
I am sorry for your loss. It's never easy, but you seem to have taken it well. Love your attitude, too. Stay safe.
PeteBigox3k Thanks this. -
Thanks I appericate that. Never easy but thankful i gt to spent a lil time with him during the illness and had a father son talk with him and all.

And you can hold and cherish that memory for the rest of your life. It's priceless, man.

That depends on the willingness of appropriate bovine sacrifices to present themselves at the appointed time, and (most likely) the insistence of FDA inspectors that everything is done properly.
That sucks... sorry for your loss.
1. Slow down. If you don't need to be driving at 58 or 62 to be there on time, go 55.
2. Learn how to drive the hills on the pedal. Using cruise wastes fuel.
3. Most of us don't downshift soon enough on a hill. Try keeping your turbo boost below 10 psi as much as possible, and keep your foot out of it.
4. A balanced trailer requires less fuel to drag around. Get the drives and tandems as close to equal as possible, and always have any excess on the drives.
5. Progressive shifting!!!
6. Idle fuel will kill your mileage. Shut it down if you're just sitting there.
One night, we're heading to Edison NJ, and I can't get over soon enough to make a left exit south of Newark. So here I am at 12:30AM, dragging a trailer up the main drag in downtown Newark. I yell at Frankie (my trainer,) "Hey, I got a problem!" He sticks his head out of the sleeper, see's big buildings on the left, and 12' 3" clearance signs on the right. The look of horror on his face was priceless! Took me 15 minutes to quit laughing!!
I made a lot of wrong turns up that way my first couple of years...
Yup, there are some really great days out here!
