So many instances of "It's not my fault" in one short paragraph.

Face it, that mentality is not what companies are looking for in individuals charged with the responsibility of the security of the load as well as achieving as close as possible to a 100% on-time record.

I can not think of any "profession" where that level of performance is desired, except unemployment.

Assuming this guy isn't a troll, I'll say this. Not much harm in applying to just about any company you can find. At this point, you'd be lucky to get on with Werner, Swift, or CRE, so just go apply to them. With your record though, I wouldn't waste any time waiting on responses from trucking companies, I'd just get right to looking for another line of work. That's just the hard truth. You don't have to stop looking for trucking jobs, but don't hold your breath waiting for one.

Somebody said trucking isn't for you and i'm going to have to agree. You going home due to chest pains is understandable but in trucking you can't go home everytime you have pains.Sounds like you just wanted to go home. There are doctors everywhere. You could have went to one of them.Until you are ready to make 100% committment to the trucking industry you should stay where you're at and work there.

I've said it before. I will say it again: Bottom feeder companies DO serve a purpose. They separate the healthy from the sick. They're kind of like the wingman of trucking...running interference on the undesirables.

A GPS took him down a dirt road. Sorry amigo, can't blame the GPS. He had chest pains and went home. If he really had chest pains, he would have went to the nearest hospital. 30 day medical leave and he didn't show up on time. Then he tells them that he was working somewheres else.

    (sigh)

how many times do you think bottom feeders see this? For every story we hear about a driver getting burned by a lease deal, or pressured to enroll in the dumb and dumber program (where a rookie trains other rookies), or how a dispatcher lied, there's a story about a driver selling fuel, dropping dimes on other drivers, behaving like a moron and opening his butt at shippers and receivers.

i knew a driver that pulled a stunt like this. He took a medical leave because of an arm injury (owner OP) but then got a speeding ticket driving for another company. He tried to come back and both companies told him that he is not eligible for rehire.
