he doesn't need to inspect THE TRUCK to inspect YOU (the driver)...sound like he did a level ! on you...
you will get no mvr points (warning don't count), no points on your dac (dac is about employment history not driving history) BUT you will get csa points....
csa points come from 2 places and only 2 places...... inspection and accident reports
inspection (you or truck) warning or ticket you get the points (so does the company).... a ticket you can fight (you win no points) a warning you can't fight.
accident reports (no inspection needed) by state, country or city you get the points (same points if you are at fault or not) sometime if may take a year or longer for the points to show up as some country/city don't turn them as fast as others do.....
inspection with warning = cas points no mvr points
inspection with ticket = cas points + mvr points
ticket with no inspection = mvr points no cas points
are you screwed...? most likely not...... over weight (but fixable) not bad..... log 30min over can be a big deal..... contacts (not wearing corrective lenses.....!!).....
Warning tickets!

Accident with no inspection is no CSA points, I was hit twice since last March and have no CSA record of it.
Your violations are minor, any decent company will keep or hire you... I wouldnt worry a bit most companies are too hard up for drivers anyway. -
I have gotten these also. Hasnt been a problem yet. I got an over height warning when i ran flatbed and it was a sheet like a dot inspection stating over height. It shows up on my csa but like I said my current employer didnt care too much about it.

Thanks for the encouragement. I live in central Texas region, waco Texas but am considering moving to dallas.

My goal is to go local at a years experience. I have tanker and hazmat endorsements already.

You guys are forgetting something: The OP got 3 warning tickets. Not one. 1 for being overweight, 1 for a log violation and 1 for not wearing corrective lenses. Each single violation will add CSA points.
You might have to wait for more than a year now. Those CSA points are going to hurt you when you start looking for another job. Wait at least a year since the date you received the tickets. By then the CSA points will diminish. -
Being pulled over doesn't equate to CSA points. You can only get CSA points via an inspection from a certified CVSA LEO, and that's what happened to the OP.

Yes , and points are tripled the first year [quote 21.
- How does time severity work in the Driver Safety Measurement System (DSMS)? Back
The violations in DSMS are impacted by time severity; that is, more recent violations are weighted more heavily than older violations that occurred within the last year count 3 times, violations that occurred between one and two years ago count 2 times, and violations between two and three years old count only 1 time.[/quote]

Ghost Ryder Thanks this. - How does time severity work in the Driver Safety Measurement System (DSMS)? Back

It sounds like you got a level III inspection. that is for paper work and documentation and yes those warnings will be on your CSA record, and can't come off because they are warnings.

So in 4 years will the points and voilations still be on my csa. What site do I go to see my csa points.
