It's low entry, made for us old guys with bad knees, lol I would question power available, I don't know about now, but at one time the biggest motor in those type trucks was the Cummins ISL, yep, a whole 8.9 litre!!!!!!!!

It is kinda cool though, in an ugly sorta way, you know, like how a pug dog is"cute"?

I drove the Cassens cabover on one trip about a year ago. It is an American Lafrance, which is the company that has made some of the worlds best fire trucks for many years. I felt like it rode fine and I liked the automatic transmission. I have driven some cabovers that rode just as good as a hood and I have driven some that rode like a rodeo bull, but air ride and long wheel base made this one ride just fine. I was told that the reason Casssens bought these was to haul an extra unit when hauling small cars and I doubt it much heavier than the high rail Volvos they have now. Just my opinion.

When I first started driving I worked for Cassens. They had some cabovers back then. Old Dodge cabovers. I couldn't tell you what year they were but Dodge was all that cassens had. My first truck with them had a hood. The hood was fixed and the fenders swung out to check the oil and such. Had a 238, and it was a FINE truck.
