Starting orientation @ Paschall Truck Lines

Ask my fleet mgr. for a load coming to Atlanta, GA and what do u know im kicking back relaxing with the kids for a few days. Think im heading back out sunday. I think my only hang up so far is my co driver. he really sucks mopes and poutes all the time, complain about running too many miles but ready to get his own truck @ the same time... smh.. everything else is cool; hometime, miles, dispatcher. Hope it stays that way. Still working on my 40k miles so i'll keep you guys posted

 

Orientation theres a drug screen, good food and a heap of paperwork on dos and donts policies the whole nine. They ask ur preference on trucks but u get whats available. There are aux holes in radios i play music from my phone all the time

 

Still here @ ptl this phase 2 really is hell it takes forever to get 40k miles cause they really dont have team freight. Outside that it should be good going solo. Ive been told phase 2 takes 4 mos. Im on month 2 so just a matter of time. All else is well trucks routes company ect... dispatchers are what u make of them i would say. Im at 20 k wit 20k to go (smh) so im hanging in there. "ok ur not gonna believe this" all was well until i reported my co driver for drinking and demanded a new one. I was routed back to murray for a new co driver and we were both terminated wow..... Never seen nething like it.
