Nocona Transport in Wichita Falls, Texas is a ripoff.

Since this was a business lease I would turn in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau

You know what? I love the fact that this company and others like it are on this forum and see that drivers are fighting back and networking with each other to educate each other on which companies are FULL OF MALARCHY!!!
We work too hard and are away from home long enough not have to put up with these criminal companies basically stealing from us and our families!

Driver shortage ...read em and weep!

 

The driver is correct. Nocona is a big rip off. I was leased on there, and every driver there has pulled their trucks. Jeff Lawerence has. No morals. My lease was termininated because I refused to run illegally anymore. He was booking team runs San Diego to Orlando nonstop and putting the run on solo drivers. Billing the company for team rates paying us solo rates. He cares nothing about the safety of drivers. He pulled money from my settlements for Heavy Use tax then I came to find out it was never paid. I asked him how did he license my truck he laughed saying he had a friend at the licensing dept that looked the other way. I ended up having to pay late fees on the 2 yrs it wasn't paid. He told me to lie to the IRS and say the truck had been parked 2 yrs. Jeff Lawrence if your reading this post you know who I am and pulling my lease was the best thing g you could have done for me.

Jeff Lawrence doesn't even have the balls to fire a driver himself. He leaves it up to James to do his dirty work and he makes sure he's out of the office. Not only is he a crook but also a coward.

 

Thief liar and coward. Heard DOT popped him big time now all his trucks are required to have onboard recorders. LOL

 

Also when I found out my dad was dying in CA they had a load booked from Ne. To La for me. I told them I was deadheadheading from Ne to Ca James said well take the load to La and we'll get you to CA from there I refused the load and hauled butt to CA. I got there at 1:30 in the morning and daddy died at 7:30 that evening. If I had taken the load I would not have gotten to say bye to my dad. That was another reason I was told I was being terminated for refusing a load. That's cold hearted

 

If this dude thought he was going to get 72% of the load after lease and fuel i want some of what he is smokin, if not sorry my bad. Anyway I work in the same part of the industry as they haul in, special comodities, its a good business and very profitable at times, i lease 2 trucks from my carrier and even make enough to keep a driver paid well in the other one. I would like Nocona to come on here post their numbers so i can look at them to determine if this was a driver issue or company issue. I have successful completed 2 lease purchases and am on my 3rd.It takes moneysense and dedication, if you have neither leasing is not a good fit for you, Now if the company is not paying their part them there are issues. Just an opinion going to sit back and see who runs with it.

 

im a company driver with Nocona so i cant say anything about the lease but as a company driver, i love it here and i have no plans to go anywhere else. From what our current Lease drivers have told me, they love it here. sooo just because you and others have bad experiences doesn't mean everybody does.

Far as Jeff goes... you obviously dont know him like you think you do.. a coward? do you have any idea of jeffs past? apparently not if you have THE BALLS to call him a coward. Personally i think if Jeff leaves the office when a driver is terminated, its because he doesn't want to hurt that person. If your such a tough guy then why call someone a coward over a computer screen? PPL have reasons of walking away, and its not cuz that person is a coward!

ive been here 4 months and EVERYTHING jeff told me before i came here as been true. soo dont always believe what you read or what ppl say... if "you" dont like a company then more power to ya. but far as my 2 cents, im happy as hell here and Jeff is a really good guy, towards me & all our other drivers.

any and all of you can waste your time to argue with me about Nocona and jeff, isnt going to change my views on this company or what i think of Jeff.
