Hill Brothers Transportation Good or Bad!!!

Yes it was. I thought that might have been you. We were in a loaner truck as our volvo with 50k miles supposedly blew the turbo and we for some reason didn't grab the cb out of it before it went in the shop. So we had to call our dsm to send ya a message. How long were you stopped for the flat?

 

I was only stoped for about 1 1/2 hours picked up in des monies. Had to be in Denver that night. I got 3550 miles for the week. They been running me back and forth between Kansas city and Denver all week. Each being six hundered miles a day.

 

Well after about a month and a half im still doing very well here. These people will bend over backwards to help you out. Very glad i came over here.

 

I have heard nothing but good things about Hill Bros, so I gave them a call this mornin. And just my luck they aren't hiring out of Ky right now. The lady I talked to was very nice and she took all of my info and said that when they open Ky back up they would be in contact.

 

I will be making my return on January 2nd. I gave Schneider's IC Choice program a whirl for a year and a half, and it's not all it's cracked up to be. Anyways, I made one phone call to switch back and didn't consider anywhere else. When I left Hill Bros it was for what I thought may be a better opportunity and I was incorrect. I know the folks at HB and they know me, I know they will keep me busy and in the end it's all about the dollars.

Lazy drivers not doing pre trips getting caught at the chicken house. Dropping trl's and not reporting problems so they could be fixed. That's what's going on

 

Boy did this company go down hill fast . Seen it to many times change the whole system and it hits the fan pay cuts low miles sad! This was a decent place to work . Not anymore

 

Ya they have been dishing out low miles the fleet mgr's haven't been giving all the information everyone needs to do their job. My husband sat 22 hrs waiting for an empty so he could pick up his load and turns out there was another place to get an empty but, no one in dispatch saw fit to tell him. As if lately he has gotten loads that aren't even worth his effort. We are looking at other places can't deal with them not giving the miles needed to bring home a paycheck!

 

Hmmm, been running my back side off last 5 months no less than 14k a month. West coast and back 2 days out and 2 days back. Miles are there i guess it depends on dispatcher. Tell husband to take a little more proactive approach. I generally know what areas the trl's are pooled at, and go on a search and find mission. Best of luck to you.
