I'm looking to change out my fixed 5th wheel for a sliding 5th wheel. It has a Teflon No Lube Slider Pad welded on that Id like to keep. Can I keep my top plate and just install the slider or do I need to replace the whole thing?

You can buy a slider and riser, but the whole deal might be cheaper.

I found a used fontaine 52inch air slider used local for $100.00. After rebuilding it everything should cost around $500.00 plus labor.
