Great, thanks for the info. I have read through a lot of the thread getting some good information. Did you apply in person mainly? That's the part I'm really trying to figure out, whether or not I have to be out there or if sending out as many resume's as possible will suffice. Thanks again for the info.

Thanks for the info bbeach. I've read through a lot of the thread trying to learn as much as I can about getting out there. What I am most curious about is whether or not I need to be there in person or if sending out as many resume's as possible will suffice? Im ready to do what needs to be done but obviously would prefer to land something prior to heading out. Thanks again.

Sending resumes doesn't really work - people just simply are overwhelmed or generally they don't read them. Larger companies process applications through keyword searches even before a real person sees them (which could be months later)..
Best thing you could do is show up.. all the frac companies (mine included) are scrounging for guys right now as we have lots of work on the boards. -
Hahaha.. Hey now.. I've been @ sanjel going on 19 months now, they've been very good to me

And with all this experience you picked up, go to CleanHarbors and get more money.
-
CleanHarbors-Did some lowboy work for them-they also leased shop, yard and office space from me-seems like an OK outfit.
-
Making more money where I am than when I was at cleanharbors, a lot of bs politics there I found.

You forgot LOUD!
