thanks wind...it's ok as long as i no longer use them (ive only taken like a total of 3 of the #### things since Oct of last year, so....I spoke with them and they said as long as i no longer take them and get a note from the doc saying no more scripts for them and no refills, i should be fine...and also that i have to wait 30 days until i go to school.

Just get the prescription refilled. You said there was a refill. Then it will be a current prescription. Problem solved.

I don't get the script being current opposed to being filled in October. I mean I get scripts for the entire year, and I will get them in a large batch so I don't have to chase them while on the road but never had to "bring them current" for a DOT. The script itself is proof from the doctor that the script is current unless the drug itself is past its usable date, nothing more is needed and if there is an issue with drug being reissued, then it would be rather dumb to have a note from the doctor saying he would not give you a script for that drug because 1 - there is always another doctor, 2 - what if you need it again then what?
