Maverick Driver general bs thread

A friend of mine just spent 11 days in a hotel while Freightliner had his truck. This is after being in a hotel for a week while the truck was in the Maverick shop in NLR for the same thing about a month ago. It broke down again the day he got it out! He isn't very happy!

 

Pfp. Pollock update. Spoke with his wife this am. Saturday his heart began irregular heartbeat so got that under control again. They again reduced the coma inducing meds and after 11 minutes, he was again appearing highly agitated, was not responding to verbal commands, squeeze my finger, nod your head, etc. She said he did open his eyes however.

Sunday: when she came in they said his lungs were stiffening up and not inflating, deflating properly so anything they were planning that day, was put on hold.

Today the cardiologist said his heart still looked good as it did when they took him off the impella, and his numbers looked good. And he's at 55%, now on the respirator, still in medically induced coma with an additional pain killer.

He is in Lutheran hospital. Fort Wayne, In.

 

Talked to the F.M this morning told me if its not ready by tomorrow there going to find me a way to n.l.r

I get on here praying that I will read a thread that he made a recovery. Praying that he does.

 

Pfp. Spoke with his wife this am. Still in an induced coma. Feeding tube now going to his small intestine. Weening him off sedation meds but haven't tried bringing him out of coma again due to stiffness in his lungs. That's all for now. Pfp

 

That's crappy news, but I thank you Sarge for keeping us posted. He's in the right place, and in the right hands.

I got my truck washed yesterday during my 30 minute "eat" break. I gave them $5 tip before they started and said " Make it look good and I will double it". They did!
Now Ol' Girl looks "Plenty good"!

 

I saw a lady trucker yesterday at a Pilot and she was stacked! Would love to play in her back yard! Ten Fo . . Comoooon!
