Ask people you know have been, and who they used. Many of the US based "taxi" services can recommend a good one. PaPa Smurf in El Paso is a good guy to ask.

Doc in Laredo is another. If he is still in business. He was talking about retiring the last time I spoke with him.

Doc & Papa are not dentist. They taxi people back and forth, and have been working the border for years.

Many of the local border Dentist are very good at their jobs. And, they take great pride and care in doing a good job.

They get a thumbs up from me :D

Don't know myself but my dad and his wife always go down Mexico way for their dental work...as well as the food, the good times, etc.

My experience was the DR I went to was a little primitive.

They keep giving you Novocaine until you quit screamin. Then he uses 3 tools. Two to dig and pry with and one to grasp the tooth and pull like heck to remove it. While being a ton cheaper they are a little rougher than the dentists I've used in the USA.
