LOTS can change in a couple years - especially the last two. CSA is a VERY big deal now. If companies don't keep the equipment together (and drivers too) they won't last long.

Don't get me wrong, my friend had nothing but the best to say about them other than the mechanical issues. He would call me daily trying to get me to come over there with him. He would probably still be there to this day if they had handled his truck different. Best of wishes to him on his adventure.

Well, I think we'll be monitoring his progress (and yours!) because we just put an call into Andrus about hiring on as team drivers ourselves. Hoping it works out like gangbusters for you two! We're running an expedited truck right now and the auto industry is a big source of the loads, which with Detroit buckling it's starting to wane... We absolutely love the expedited lifestyle, run fast and hard then drop until another fire needs putting out. LOL But, it's been slow the past two weeks for no real reason (other than Detroit?) and we have bills to pay. With family in St. George, northern Utah, and Phoenix (Andrus Terminal location), it seems a good fit. The new Volvo's are inviting although we're in a Freightliner with a custom 96" sleeper right now that it will be hard to give up. It's been like an RV dream to stay out here on the road in this rig... but, we've not been able to stop by our home base in central Arizona since we left a year ago. Drove by the exit on I-17 three times but were under either a hot or high security load each time and couldn't deviate from route. :-( Andrus sounds like they'll keep us running and get us by the areas we need to get to occasionally... and maybe have actual home time too. Forgot to ask them if they had a pet policy we need to know about though. Anybody know if they are lenient that way? Thx. Team Sly

Not sure about a pet policy but I know they have a rider policy after 90 days. I am looking forward to that one!

Well I just got off the phone with Nick, he's super excited right now. He was the only one out of his class to get his truck issued today. He got a 2012 Volvo with 12 Speed Auto. He got to take the truck to the Utah/Arizona Port of entry and get a DOT inspection done on the truck, everything checked out! He has one more day tomorrow and he should get his first load and head back to Vegas to get his stuff and then to wherever he is dropping off. He said that he was told he would get no less than 2500 miles a week and to expect more around 3000 miles. He said they have tons of freight to move and not enough drivers so the miles will be there no problem. We are both very excited about what will come with this company. I will keep you updated. He is sending me pics of his truck now I will post them when I receive them.

    Coolbreeze Thanks this.

I hadn't asked them yet if they have different trucks for solos and teams... hope he got a 72" for the most space he can get before going into custom sizing (as far as I know). That size usually has, or has spots for, a small microwave, TV, and fridge. Fingers crossed.
