I am lookin for a 407 code 3 axle trailer and have narrowed it down to either a Dragon or a Tytal. What can you guys tell me about these and what might be a tougher/better trailer? Pro's n con's? Best bang for the buck?

The tractor you plan on pulling the tank with makes a big difference on which trailer will work best.
If you plan on using an OTR tractor, I would recommend going with the Tytal. Either one is a good piece of equipment. However, the Tytal has a barrel that is better suited for OTR tractors than the Dragon. The Tytal is designed specifically to put a majority of the product towards the back, placing less stress on the suspension and frame of the tractor.
If you are going to use a heavy haul tractor either is great.
Just my opinion. -
Well I have both types of tractors. I think I would feel better with a trailer more evenly balanced to put more weight on the tractor for traction purposes off road as this trailer would be in an 80% off road application.

I pull a 4-axle, 2 comp Dragon. It is a good wagon, but there could be somethings different. Biggest thing is the manner in which the axle group was speced.
Of the 3-axle Tytal's I see working around, I don't hear any complaints as far as "Balance".
Dragon, Tytal, Polar, Heil, Brenner......all are good wagons. Those Superior trailer coming out of Idaho...... I don't particularly care for.
