Coming up on my 90 days and thinking about being a TNT trainer.

Guess I missed that part. Its been a few years, hopefully they wont up and charge me.

I remember having to do Smith System again and one day of TNT classroom. Hotel room was covered by the company.

You get paid to take Smith System, and TNT class is one day and they charge you $200? Even if the policy has changed, you are the first person, Ive heard, to say there is a charge.

 

Just looked at my settlement.. and no. I was not charged to take TNT. And this was a month and a half ago. Soooo... Unless they've changed something that quickly... I do believe you are wrong. I was paid for Smith, too.

 

Hey danfromwindsor yep some people should read the thread before making a comment gee's, anyhow i think you'll make a great instructor considering your years of experience an I'm sure some people would agree i was lucky to get a good instructor some of my classmates not so lucky an there are some bad instructors out there but i wish you the best whatever you decide be safe out there.

 

Hey Dan since you're lease this is what will happen...

You'll have ACEII on Monday. Think it was at 0800. Run by dispatch before hand. They'll print out 4-5 weeks of settlements and a cash flow statement. ACEII will be at sprimo in the east conference room - downstairs by the cafe by the ATM. There's two conference rooms down there. One by the ATM and one opposite that one on the other side of the entrance down there closer to the cafe.

Tuesday will be TNT class at campus inn in the cdl instructor classroom. 0700 this time I think. They will take your weekly lease amount and break it up somehow and charge you a partial for the week. Then the days you were in class will be broken up into payments over a few weeks. You're still responsible for your truck payment, but they spread it out sort of.

Smith is given every day of the week. I recommend taking it Wednesday since rookies aren't even released until Thursday/Friday.

Prime will pay for a room for one or two nights. Get with your fm on that. I didn't take advantage of that so I don't know.
